​Karmenah is the Founder and Managing Director of Honey Oak Developments.

A Property Developer with boundless energy and enthusiasm, she is passionate about bringing a new lease of life to former or underutilised commercial and industrial buildings by transforming them into stunning residential dwellings.

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Karmenah comes from a legal and business background.

A fully qualified Solicitor, she worked at a leading Legal 500 Central London Law Firm before going into business.  She then successfully co-founded and ran her own Law Firm in London, for over two decades.

She is also a firm believer in always acting with the utmost honesty and integrity and her adherence to professional codes of conduct fosters a culture of trust and accountability.

It is this very strong legal and business acumen, that Karmenah brings to Honey Oak Developments.

Penelope Walters

Finance Executive

Penelope is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years' experience. 

Beginning her career at one of the world's leading accountancy practices, she gained invaluable expertise in both tax and strategic business development. 

She then served as a Finance Director for a PLC in London before founding her own accountancy practice, Trimantic Accounting in 2011.

Derek Mason 
CEng PrEng MSc(Eng)
MSAICE MICE FIStructE

Development Executive

Derek is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 40 years' experience.

He is a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers, which is the highest Membership level and is only achieved by a very small percentage of Members.  

Derek led the team that did the third-party check for the Structural Engineering and Technical Review of the London 2012 Olympic Stadium, working for the Olympic delivery authority (ODA). This covered both the structural engineering design checks as well as the on-site checking of the construction.

Derek is the founding Director of the multi-award-winning structural engineering consultancy, Super Structures Associates Limited.

Derek assesses project feasibility and risks for Honey Oak Developments, ensuring compliance with building regulations as well as providing expert consultation on structural integrity and material selection. His advice ensures a development is safe, sustainable and meets regulatory standards.

Mike Sandhu

Development  Executive

Mike is a Director at SC Architecture, a RIBA chartered architectural practice which is quality assured to BS 1SO 9001.

With over twenty years' experience, Mike is instrumental in guiding Honey Oak Developments through every stage of the development process, ensuring a seamless and informed architectural service from project inception to handover on completion.

Colin is one of the country's leading planning consultants with over thirty years' experience.

He is the founder of CJS Planning Services. 

With his extensive knowledge of planning regulations and controls, Colin manages the planning application process for Honey Oak Developments and engages with the local planning authorities.

Dan is a Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor with over thirty years' experience.

He is a Director at Syndicate Property Development with a strong commitment to quality, cost control and innovation.

​​Every development project undertaken by Honey Oak Developments adheres to the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Guidelines which is integral to the whole development process.

The RIBA framework comprises of eight stages in the development process from the initial planning and design, right through to the delivery of the project on site and the owners moving into their new homes.

Following the RIBA Plan of Work ensures a methodical approach to the entire project lifecycle. It is designed to reduce risk whilst delivering a high quality project in a competent manner.
